Thanks Carol,
If there are no moves and the Canucks keep the 15th, it will be interesting to see if the Canucks take the BPA or draft for positional need. I do hope we take a quality d-man, (Mateychuk, Mintyukov or Bichsel...).
There will be some high value wingers there though. |

Thx Carol! Lots of smoke around Canucks coveting Ohgren. He is a winger but at least he has decent size and bite. |

Thanks Carol. Plenty of interesting options where the Canucks pick, this will be the first true test of the new regime. Should be a fun draft, I expect Van to make at least a move or 2 |

I’ve decided the Canucks aren’t giving the Devils all the Hughes brothers, but will in fact deal them to Vancouver. Pettersson+Miller+Rathbone for Jack and Luke |

That Lambert sure reminds of Virtanen!
Skill and speed euro, oops not Virtanenen
Not very physical, unlike Virtanen
Great transition player, not Virtanen again!
Out of your element Donny!
He's a gamble, possible he was rushed into the higher leagues. Really good against his peers. There are way worse picks at 15, big slow players wothout much ceiling like geekie and kaspar are my main worry

“I took a job initially I thought I would love but I felt lost. With the coaching change I felt like I had a chance, more functional. I thank Jimmy Rutherford and Patrik Allvin because it gave me a chance to work again,” he told Postmedia from his cottage on Mississippi Lake in Ontario."

Makes you wonder if Green didn't really give a poop about Shaw and just listened to his boy Baumer.

Your prospect knowledge is limited to what you read in Canucks army. And that’s ok. Circle back in a week when we see where the kid is selected |

What's the deal with Jiri Kulich?
I'm always intrigued about these kids who come from these lesser scouted countries/leagues. Center with okay size at 6 feet as long as he fills out his frame. He was 17 at the start of the season, his next youngest teammate was 22. |

Lol that’s funny. Must be a shot at green. Green never wanted to hire Shaw so he probably ignored him |

He could go anywhere, was a top5 pivk before having a dissappointing year(unlike virtanen again!). Plays nothing like Virtanen though |

His game is remarkably similar to virtanen. There are also rumblings he has a bad attitude. Also like Jake. And another thing, Jake was a legit propect, a better prospect than lambert. He went 6th overall in a pretty good draft. I’m just pointing out that they share numerous negative qualities |

Apparently demanded a trade from 2 different teams, definitely a red flag because evn if he pans out as a good player, who knows how coachable he'll be and if he'll want to stick around long term |

Does it really matter who they draft or trade for? the team is still owned by the Aqulinis. You guys will drool who ever they draft and he will instantly become a future Canuck superstar in your little minds, leading to bubble year after bubble year after bubble year. The real entertainment is watching this team get pushed around year after year and watching you guys lose your minds. |

This along with his bad year are the red flags. He had a bad year this year and its upto managent to decide on his character. Virtanen had a huge draft year, but was never ever consdiered a possible top5 pick like Lambert has been before this season. Hes more like Hagelin than Virtanen, kid doesnt throw the body but fights for loose pucks and uses his speed. |
